Obstetrics & Gynaecology Group Update - April 2016

In March we welcomed back Prof Wright after a two week trip to Hargeisa for the first joint O&G/Surgery teaching trip. Surgery Group Update - April 2016

In March we had a very successful surgical trip to Somaliland where Gopiga ran a Surgical Emergencies Course for final year medical students and interns. It was a great pleasure that Dr Riikka from Boroma was able to help as faculty on the course and attend with 5 interns from Boroma. 94 kata lagi

Sophia went to Hargeisa and successfully managed to deliver teaching to the interns and medical students of Hargeisa hospital. She encountered the usual difficulties with planning a trip without knowing all of the local logistical issues and had to adapt when she got there. 204 kata lagi

Dr Nick Bass led a popular and well-attended course on Psychiatric Emergencies on MedicineAfrica for interns in Somaliland.
