Lava Update | July 7, 2017

Eruptive activity continues on Kilauea’s east rift zone, as molten lava was present and visible from Pu‘u ‘O‘o to the Kamokuna ocean entry. Our initial approach to the vent was hampered by low cloud cover, so we made our way over the upper flow field and observed numerous little active lobes, with a bit of overplating occurring on the March 5th breakout. 259 kata lagi
