Tan solo una cuestión de practica, y demanda poco tiempo el aprendizaje de los mismos. De hecho, por lo general nos conocemos unos pocos, desde el Ctrl+Shift+Alt+S para el "Save for web", o el Ctrl+L para "Levels", hasta los simples Ctrl+ y Ctrl- para Zoom In/Out.

Podemos encontrar los shortcuts fácilmente. Desde Edit>Keyboard Shortcuts, o bien comenzar Shift+Alt+Ctrl+K. Ahi tendremos un panel de control a la vista, en el cual debemos seleccionar, en este caso, Tools. Podemos hasta editarlos, y crear nuevos.

Los pueden encontrar en todos los programas de Adobe Creative Suite, si bien el formato de los cuadros de diálogo no es siempre el mismo. Para aquellos que usen After Effects, Premiere, hasta incluso Flash, puede serlos muy útil, y evitarse abrir menúes desplegables.

So tonight Yet Another Neelys Show is set to air, Stealing Road Tested from the Deen Brothers Road Tested with the Neelys. I'll watch it.  And then I'll forget about it and reflect on how fucking awesome Secrets of a Restaurant Chef is.

Anyway, Lisa and K are finishing up their dishes and Dayna Devon is in the kitchen with a fucking microphone as if Food Network Stars are cooking with a microphone in a kitchen whenever they're taping at Chelsea Market.  (Hell, this never happened on The Next Iron Chef, although the contestants were pissed about a German film crew getting all in their cooking in one episode, or Iron Chef America, even.)  The judges are like K, why didn't you look at her?  Meanwhile, Lisa does manage to look up, albeit crosseyed.

(This part was omitted because it was a repeat of the end of part one, which, in the recap, is somewhere between the "Versus" graphic and the girls jumping on trampolines.  We bring you now to the judging of the dishes.)

K's mac dish looks ugly presentation-wise, as usual. However the League of Judges like K's mac and cheese.  Like I predicted.  Meanwhile Lisa's is "muddier."  Paula Deen hates it.  Then again she smokes. I heard that smokers only have two tastebuds.  That's why she loves butter so much--she can't taste it.

The cassoulet: Ugly plating once again for K.  But The League of Judges like Lisa's cassoulet.  It's the best Bobby's ever had.  K, however, is screwed because he's never made it before.  Little Man says K's version is "Johnny's first cassoulet."  No, it's Spot's first cassoulet. You see Spot run.  Then you see him make cassoulet.  Duh.

Whitney wants to "do" Aaron's pork loin and her chicken Parmesan (I'm hoping not literally).  Meanwhile Aaron has to redo Whitney's chicken Parmesan and create his own pork loin dish.

Whitney is making pork medallions with pork tenderloin as opposed to the original loin.  Her strategy is to make the loin dish "petite food," whatever that is.  Aaron will add sides.  If he can.  Whitneyisspeakinglikethis.  I think she's screwed.  Meanwhile Aaron can't cook and talk and know what Chipotles are.  (Yes, I know, those chipotles, but can someone ask him if he knows what Chipotles are?   Thanks!)  On the side are K and Lisa (?).

(This part was omitted because this is a repeat of Part II, paragraph Anyway.  We bring you now to the judging.  Except for "culinary school" and "berre blanc."  Whitney knows she is in trouble because she forgot that Little Man is allergic to those things called "culinary school.")

Aaron has 20 minutes.  He hasn't made a Chicken Parmesan.  Yet.

He deep fries the chicken parm.

And Whitney overcooks the loin.  And proceeds to tell us that the pork tenderloin is overcooked.  For Little Man, I assume.  And she's also cheap--she mentions how the food on this show is paid for.  The League likes her honesty.  Meh.

We now proceed to judging, in which we will alarm nutritionists of the world.  Then again, I'm not a nutritionist, but if I was I would be alarmed.

The League likes Whitney's sauce, but not her chicken.  Aaron, amazingly enough, makes a great Parm.  Because it's fried and it's larger than Whitney. (Typo, but, hey, it works!)  Remember last year when JAG (if you're lucky, you might see reruns where Fine Living spells his name out for those that forgot what his real name was) and Paul fried that meatloaf because the oven wasn't working at Fort Dix and they knew Giada was going to eat their brains out if they didn't finish, so they threw the meatloaf in the fryer?

It's like that.  You fry something on this show, no matter how easy frying is, the judges will love it (by way of editing, but whatever).  Also: Paula Deen, woman of two tastebuds.

The judges, natch, like Aaron's loin.  The judges question Whitney's portion size and think she's contradictory.

K thinks the frat is all talented at this point in the show.  No comment.

Little Man brought the 4 here to Beemer because of the restaurants and the "high stakes."  Rim shot.  Drumstick breaks drums.  (Did I mention his bad stock market metaphor a few weeks back? Or, edited to add, this post with the Wizard of Oz metaphor at the end? No?  You think he should be my intern?  Because I'll take on interns for a fee.)

Whatchamacallit is disappointed that Lisa didn't bring her all to both dishes.  She also hates Lisa's "unwelcoming" "intensity."

And then Whatchamacallit asks K his "point of view" is.  If tiling in the kitchen was the death knoll of designers in the first two seasons of Design Star, then "point of view" is the death knell of Aminal Food contestants.  That is, unless you're K, because he has some crazy guardian angels or something.

Whatchamacallit also thinks that Whitney's pork dish wasn't "basic."  I guess she wants people to boil water and consider that cooking.  You know how vampires traditionally are warded off by silver crosses and garlic?  Whatchamacallit is afraid of The French Laundry Cookbook and French Laundry at Home.

All of a sudden the Blue Fairy came in and asked the frat what they wanted to be more like on the last couple of episodes or so.

Lisa wanted her professional side and her nice side to be one.

K wanted to be organized.

Whitney wanted to stop overthinking.

Aaron wanted to get an A in cooking or something

The Little Man dismissed the Fairy. "We have not made a decision yet," he said.  I replied, "No shit!"

Judging:

Whatchamacallit thinks Lisa is still a control freak.

Bobby thinks Whitney doesn't have experience.

And Little Man doesn't trust K's "passion."

And Whitney is cut.  The judges' blog post on Whitney @ Food Network will explode today, I know it.  And Jacob will be like "OMG you guies it's just a reality show just breathe!"  Meanwhile I knew K would at least be in the final 3.

We end with Lisa finding candy corns in bed, much like her spiritual daughter.  That's a good thing!

Next: Former frat members come back and embarrass the current frat members in front of Excalibur cast members!  Poochie's in Beemer, even!  (Like I predicted!)  And Lisa has to pull wine from the infamous Mission: Impossible wine cabinet!  (Seriously!)

Downloading a lot of files these days is very easy and fast! A problem with this is that if you do not do some management, things start cluttering up even faster. Let's look at one of such management techniques - "The Right Click Send To Menu". In this article we will be customizing the right click menu's Send To option you get on clicking on a file or folder, plus there will be a few "Send To" tricks!

The procedure for customizing the "Send To" menu is same for both XP and Vista. Let's say you want to add My Music to the Send To menu, you will have to:

1. Open the run dialog box (Win + r) or Start > Run
2. Type sendto and hit enter. The "Send To" folder will open.
3. Then create a shortcut to the My Music folder in the Send To folder and you are done!

Now when you Right Click on any file or folder and choose "Send To", you will see "My Music" listed there. You can add as many item to the Send To menu as you please. Not only folders but you can also add the following:

• Disk drives (local or network)
• Fax printers
• Printers
• Windows-based programs
• Compressed (zipped) folders
• The desktop
• Mail recipients
• The My Documents folder

To Remove an entry from the Send To menu you would just have to remove its shortcut from the SendTo folder.

Copying, Moving and Send To tricks:

First off just to set things straight Copying a file or folder means that a "Copy" of the file or folder is created in the new location, while Moving a file or folder means that you "Cut" the file or folder and then paste it in its new location. Since we have customized the Send To menu thus we have taken care of all this and we can achieve all this in one single step.

• To Copy to the destination:
  • Simply Right Click on the file/folder and choose Send To and then the destination
• To Move to the destination:
  • Left Click to select, Shift + Right Click on the file/folder and hold down Shift while you choose Send To and then the destination
• To Create a Shortcut at destination:
  • Ctrl + Shift + Right Click on the file/folder and hold down Ctrl + Shift while you choose Send To and then the destination

Note that these tricks also apply in general when you drag and drop files from one window to another (only you don't need to right click in that case).

Per questo esistono le cosiddette Boss Key, ovvero shortcut che permettono di nascondere la finestra attuale e farne comparire una "fake".

Panic in questo caso farà ciò che fa per voi, sostituendo, dopo aver premuto la combinazione giusta di tasti, tutti i tab al momento aperti con una pagina di Google aperta sulla ricerca "Increasing Workplace Productivity" (aumentare la produttività sul posto di lavoro)

Semplicemente geniale!

A. Shortcut untuk aplikasi yang berjalan dengan WINE

Berikut ini adalah langkah-langkah yang dilakukan :

1. Klik kanan sembarang tempat yang ada di desktop, kemudian pilih Buat Peluncur.

   

2. Setelah muncul jendela Buat Peluncur Program, isilah textbox sesuai dengan data yang ada.
   Nama : diisi dengan nama aplikasi, contoh : Notepad++ Portable
   Perintah : diisi dengan perintah untuk menjalankan aplikasi
   Untuk aplikasi yang berjalan dengan WINE maka untuk perintahnya dapat digunakan format berikut :

   env WINEPREFIX="/home/[userhomefolder] /.wine" wine [executable file]

   Contoh : env WINEPREFIX="/home/wahyo/.wine" wine "/home/wahyo/data/PortableApp/Notepad++ Portable/Notepad++ Portable.exe"

   

3. Untuk mendapatkan gambar Icon yang sesuai dengan aplikasi maka kita perlu cari terlebih dahulu dimana letak file icon. Untuk itu gunakan Nautilus untuk mencari dimana letak Icon.

   

   Pada contoh diatas diketahui bahwa lokasi icon Notepad++ Portable ada di subfolder AppInfo.
   Selanjutnya kita kembali lagi ke jendela Buat Peluncur Program, kita klik gambar icon sehingga muncul jendela Cari Icon.

   

   Pada jendela tersebut kita klik tombol Cari kemudian arahkan folder ke folder tempat lokasi icon berada. Setelah itu klik tombol Buka walaupun gambar icon tidak tampak.

   

   Setelah kita klik tombol Buka, maka kita akan kembali lagi ke jendela cari Ikon yang sudah menampilkan icon aplikasi yang kita inginkan.

   

   Kita pilih icon tersebut kemudian klik OK maka selesailah proses menyesuaikan icon aplikasi.

4. Setelah kembali ke jendela Buat Peluncur Program, kita klik tombol OK maka selesailah proses pembuatan shortcut untuk aplikasi yang berjalan dengan WINE. Di desktop akan muncul shortcut sebagai berikut :

   

B. Shortcut untuk aplikasi yang berjalan dalam modus Root

Berikut ini adalah langkah-langkah yang dilakukan :

1. Buka jendela Buat Peluncur Program dan isi textbox dengan informasi yang sesuai, khusus untuk perintahnya dapat digunakan format berikut :

   gksudo [aplikasi]

   Contoh : gksudo nautilus

   

2. Untuk mengganti icon kita klik gambar icon dan kemudian kita cari icon Nautilus pada daftar yang ada.

   

   Selanjutnya kita klik tombol OK, dan setelah kembali ke jendela Buat Peluncur Program kita klik OK lagi.

3. Setelah shortcut selesai dibuat maka pada saat dijalankan akan muncul jendela konfirmasi terlebih dahulu untuk menanyakan password Root.

   

   Aplikasi akan berjalan setelah kita mengisi password Root dengan benar.

Berhati-hatilah selalu bila menjalankan aplikasi dalam mode Root, karena setiap kesalahan dapat berakibat fatal bagi seluruh sistem.

C. Membuat SubMenu Tambahan dibawah Menu Aplikasi

Berikut ini adalah langkah-langkah yang dilakukan :

1. Buka dulu Menu Utama dari menu System >> Preferensi >> Menu Utama

   

2. Setelah dibuka akan muncul tampilan berikut :

   

3. Dari jendela Menu Utama kita klik tombol Menu Baru yang akan muncul jendela editing untuk Pengaturan Direktori. Isi dengan informasi yang kita kehendaki.

   

4. Setelah Pengaturan Direktori terisi lengkap, kita klik OK, maka selesailah pembentukan folder tempat nantinya aplikasi berada. Beri tanda chek pada chekbox yang terletak di kolom Tampilkan agar muncul dalam menu Aplikasi.

   

5. Selanjutnya kita buka folder Aplikasi Root yang sudah selesai kita buat, terlihat bahwa folder masih kosong. Untuk mengisinya maka kita perlu membuat shortcut aplikasi di dalam folder tersebut dengan klik pada tombol Item Baru.

   

6. Setelah seluruh informasi terisi dalam jendela Buat Peluncur Program, maka klik OK untuk menyimpannya. Selesailah pembuatan Submenu dengan munculnya shortcut yang kita buat.

   

7. Untuk menguji Sub Menu yang kita buat, bisa dicek dari Menu Aplikasi.

Banyak orang yang tak mengerti arti pentingnya shortcut, padahal bila mereka tahu, hmm ... senengnya bukan main. Contohnya aja temen saya sesama anak IT, ketika saya membuka Explorer di Windows dengan shortcut Ctrl+E, dia langsung kaget, ihh ... pencet apa tuh dit (makanya yang bukan anak IT jangan minder yaa!!). Ada minimal 2 keuntungan yang kita dapet dari shortcut, yaitu efisiensi waktu dan efisiensi tenaga. intinya mah shortcut itu bikin kita g cepet capek gt!) Langsung aja yah, ini neh shortcut2 yg saya tahu ...

1. Ctrl+click: membuka link dalam sebuah tab baru.

2. Ctrl+t: membuka sebuah tab kosong.

3. Ctrl+tab: untuk berpindah dari satu tab ke tab lain.

4. Ctrl+shift+tab: berpindah dari satu tab ke tab lain dengan arah kebalikan dari Ctrl+tab.

5. Ctrl+w: menutup tab yang sedang dibuka.

6. Ctrl+q: membuka tab dalam tampilan thumbnail

7. Ctrl+n: membuka window browser baru

8. Klik link dengan scroll mouse: membuka link dalam sebuah tab baru.

9. Klik tab dengan scroll mouse: menutup tab yang sedang dibuka.

During my computer electronics class when school was near ending, there was a bunch of guys laughing. I went to go check it out, and I seen them putting the 'show desktop' shortcut onto the desktop. I thought that was just too good because why would you need to go to the desktop when your at it already? and they had the shortcut ALL OVER the desktop, that was pretty much the only thing on it too. Oh and when we were networking all the computer groups and severs togeather, a guy I know drew a picture of our group leaders face with MS paint. When he finished it, he sent it to all the computers in our group and he put it on the desktop. Yeah our teacher was looking at us weird, but when our group leader seen it he was all "What the hell is THIS?!" and then he goes and changes the background to default and deletes the picture, but there was so many copies of the pic that he would never be able to control it. So when he went away, we set it back up again and laughed at him.

پس از جستجو و یافتن بخش ، بر روی آن راست کلیک کنید و در قسمت Send to گزینه Creat Shortcut را انتخاب کنبد تا Shortcut آن روی دسکتاپ شما ایجاد شود.

بدین منظور:
1- بر روي فضای خالی دسكتاپ خود راست كليك کرده و از New گزینه Shortcut را انتخاب كنيد.
2- در پنجره باز شده و قسمت Command line (يا همون مستطيل سفيد ) عبارت user.exe , exitwindows را بنويسيد.
3 - گزينه Next را بزنيد و در پایان بر روی دکمه Finish کلیک کنید.

لازم به ذکر است که این ترفند تنها در ویندوز 98 امکان پذیر است.

برای این کار:
1- ابتدا بر روی روی Start کلیک کرده و گزینه ی Run رو انتخاب کنید.
2- در کادر درون پنجره Run دستور Regedit رو تایپ کنید و Enter بزنید.
3- به آدرس مقابل بروید : HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/ lnkfile
4- در سمت راست پنجره ، گزينه ی IsShortcut را می بینید. روی آن راست کلیک کرده و از منوی باز شده Rename را انتخاب کرده و نام آن را به IsShortcutOld تغیر دهید، یعنی بعد از آن - بدون فاصله - کلمه ی Old را تایپ کنید .
5- کامپیوتر خود را Restart یا Log off کنید.

Today I am starting with a first “battle”, selecting text in MS Word (inspired by 100 Lifehacking Tips (Dutch)). We all want to select 1 word or 1 sentence from a Word-document at some point in time. So, most people get confronted with selecting a whole page instead of that particular paragraph or a sentence rather than a single word.

How? Easy! Just press 3 times the F8 key (at the top of your keyboard) to select an entire sentence. That’s all!

This is the secret lifehack: the number of times you press F8:

1 * F8 activates the selection modus.
2 * F8 selects a single word
3 * F8 selects a sentence (from capital to fullstop)
4 * F8 selects a paragraph
5 * F8 selects a selection of the document or the whole document (hit F8 once more!)

Please do try this at home (and at work!). Pretty fast, right?
