Erneut ist es zu massiven Problemen im Rechenzentrum der Bundesagentur für Arbeit (BA) in Nürnberg für die Hartz IV-Leistungen gekommen. Verschiedene Betroffene hatten vergangene Woche dem Erwerbslosen Forum Deutschland mitgeteilt, dass sie im Zuge der Erhöhung der ALG-II-Leistung ab 1. Juli ohne Leistungen da standen. Ein Fehler im «Batchlauf» führten offenbar dazu, dass viele ALG II Bezieher bisher ihre Leistungen für Juli nicht pünktlich erhalten haben. Nach Angaben von Mitarbeitern in Berliner JobCenter sollen allein in Berlin über 10.000 ALG-II Bezieher von dem System-Fehler in Nürnberg betroffen sein. Ein Presssprecher der Bundesagentur für Arbeit (BA) wollte dies am Sonntag gegenüber dem Erwerbslosen Forum Deutschland so nicht bestätigen. Er sprach jedoch davon, dass bundesweit tausende Hartz IV-Bezieher betroffen sind.

Besonders pikant: es existieren in den einzelnen JobCenters bislang auch keine vollständigen Listen, welche ALG II-Bezieher dies im Einzelnen betrifft. Soweit die Betroffenen nicht selbst in ihrem JobCenter vorstellig werden, könne der Fehler auch nicht durch eine erneute Anforderung der Zahlung berichtigt werden. Das Erwerbslosen Forum Deutschland übte scharfe Kritik an der Informationspolitik der BA. «Wir haben kein Verständnis dafür, dass die BA nicht selbst an die Öffentlichkeit geht. Es ist ja inzwischen eine Realität, dass so Betroffene zunächst damit vertröstet werden, das Geld sei angeblich unterwegs oder sie tagelang auf einen Vorschuss warten müssen», sagte Martin Behrsing, Sprecher des Erwerbslosen Forum Deutschland.

Passgenau dazu soll am Freitag dann auch noch eine neue interne Dienstanweisung erlassen worden sein, nach der die Sachbearbeiter ab sofort nur noch maximal 50,00 EUR Vorschuss in Bargeld auf ausstehende Leistungen gewähren dürften, statt wie bisher 100,00 EUR. Der Pressestelle der Bundesagentur für Arbeit lagen darüber jedoch keine Informationen vor.

Das Erwerbslosen Forum Deutschland rät allen Hartz IV-Beziehern, die bisher noch keine Leistungen erhalten haben, nächste Woche bei ihren Argen/JobCentern vorstellig zu werden und sich die Leistungen in bar ausbezahlen zu lassen. Keineswegs sollten sie sich damit «abwimmeln» lassen, dass keine Barzahlungen möglich sein.

Hundreds of people, including many ex-SPCK booksellers, are expected to gather at Worcester Cathedral at 3.30pm today to remember and show their respect for Steve Jeynes, the former manager of SPCK's Worcester branch who was found dead, apparently having taken his own life, just over a week ago.

As reported here previously, Joy Jeynes, Steve's widow, has issued a call to continue to pray for God’s work in Worcester. A few of the many tributes and expressions of sympathy for Steve's family that have poured in — and continue to pour in — are reproduced below. 

Trevor Gibb, 30/06/2008:

Steve was one of the first people I knew in Worcester when I moved here in 1989. As the manager of Icthus Christian Bookshop he was a lively, loving man with a passion for Christ and a heart for the lost. Steve did not just work in the Icthus bookshop he served in it. He saw his work as ministry and was used by God to pray for and witness to many, many people.

He took this zeal with him to the SPCK shop and saw his role there in the same way as as he saw his role at the Icthus shop, serving God by praying and witnessing. This was Steves passion. I am in no doubt that Steve is with the Lord he loved so much in his earthly journey.

Steve Supported ALL the ministries in Worcester and was also committed to supporting the local churches.

Steve will be sadly missed by those who knew him. And he would be glad to know that so many are supporting Joy and the Children in prayer and concern.

I am deeply saddened by the turn of events that left Steve so distressed and unable to face the future. All who have been associated with SPCK bookshops have suffered heartbreak as the bookshops chain has been devalued and decimated especially in the very short time since SSG took over the chain. Staff of the former SPCK believed passionately in the cause for which they worked, namely spreading the word of God. Steve worked untiringly for this cause and that will be his epitaph.

Oh my dear old friend and Brother in Christ. May you rest in the arms of our loving heavenly Father and may He now wipe every tear from your eyes, place a smile on your face and a song of joyous praise on your lips as you sing with the Saints in glory.

I first met Steve just over 31years ago whilst looking for some trendy clothes to wear (he was the manager of a men’s wear shop in Worcester). He always had a smile or grin on his face and, no mater what the circumstances, always had a word of encouragement. Later, when at the Icthus Christian Bookshop he was just the same and although I only saw him infrequently, after having moved from Worcester, I would sometimes bump into him and, as always, he would listen, empathize and then his face would begin to shine and then beam as he uttered a few salient words of encouragement. He was never judgmental and like others I always felt better for having spent time in his presence.

God Bless you Steve, I look forward to the time when I bump into you again and recognize you by your smile. I know that when that happens my own smile will for once, match yours.

Joy, please accept my sincere condolences and know that you and the family will be our prayers.

I have only just heard. What a shock. What a loss.

Steve’s death is a great loss to all who knew him. I have maintained a friendship with Steve through the years since he began as the Manager at Ichthus. Most weeks I called in to see him and have a chat.

He never failed to greet me whith a characteristic “Hello Ewan!”, and would not only draw my attention to a book or three, but would invariably introduce me to anyone else who happenned to be in the shop. He had a real interest in people which led to him knowing everybody’s name, where they were from, and what church they went to.

I , who knew him only in passing, will miss him a lot. My deepest sympathy and compassion go out to the family and those who were closer than I.

The Christian community of the City of Worcester will be much the poorer for his absence.

We talked often of the ongoing difficulties he was having with the St Stephen the Great “charity”, and his dilemmas regarding whether to continue working with them as their behaviour towards SPCK and the staff seemed increasingly unethical and unchristian. This was balanced against his own sense of mission to the people of Worcester.

He showed me several of the e-mails he had received, and I had been shocked at their inhumane attitudes, and had formed a very low opinion of them and their ways. I personally hold them partially responsible for bringing Steve to the position where his life ended.

I pray that some good will come out of this situation and that in remembering Steve in the future, it will allways be with a grin, rather than with any bitterness towards those who added to his burrdens in life. I take confidence in the truth that God is the Judge, and that Steve’s reception into Glory will be an honourable one.

Dopo essere riuscita a fuggire dal suo paese ha incontrato a Dharamsala - la sua residenza in esilio dal 1959 - il Dalai Lama, capo spirituale del Tibet che l’ha incoraggiata a cantare per diffondere la ricchezza della cultura del popolo tibetano. Dopo aver vissuto per breve tempo nell’India del Nord Yungchen Lhamo si è trasferita in Australia dove ha realizzato il suo primo Cd, Tibetan Prayer, nel 1995 mentre l’anno successivo Venezia ha ospitato la sua prima esibizione europea, un grande successo seguito dai concerti al Womad Festival britannico e ad altri prestigiosi festival internazionali. La cantante ha poi realizzato il secondo Cd Tibet Tibet per l’etichetta Real World di Peter Gabriel, una raccolta di rari canti tibetani in cuo risuona l’anima di un popolo straordinario e assolutamente fuori dal comune. Die Umfrage im Auftrag der BITKOM ergab, dass Sicherheitsprogramme auf den Computern noch nicht zum Standard gehörten. Nur 67 Prozent nutzten demnach eine Firewall. Laut Umfrage sitzen rund 80 Prozent der 72 Millionen Deutschen über 14 Jahre privat oder beruflich vor einem Computer.

Okie..the sisters a side. What was shocking for the wedding was..When we reaching the car park of the bride's house. We horn to make our presence known. *ahem* thats a traditional. But little did we know we r expecting something  out of the NORM happening!

What happen was......................... some bloody #$%@^% farker threw an egg down and hit our car! KNNBPCB.....was wat Bob shouted. We coun't identify which household threw the egg down!

NEXT...one DAD from the 2nd story shouted at us and give us the hell of a lecture. Bob still being traumatize by the egg that hit his car rebuke back by asking hit to make a police report since he could see our number plate.

THE POINT OF MY STORY IS....what kind of sick place is SERANGOON? Why is the community so SICK BRAIN!!

gimana ya cara kerja air tersebut???
1. Pagi hari ketika anda baru bangun tidur ( bahkan tanpa gosok gigi terlebih dahulu) minumlah 1.5 liter air, yaitu 5 sampai 6 gelas. Lebih baik airnya ditakar dahulu sebanyak 1.5 liter. Ketahuilah bahwa nenek moyang kami menamakan terapi ini sebagai "usha paana chikitsa". Setelah itu anda boleh mencuci muka.
2. Hal sangat penting untuk diketahui bahwa jangan minum atau makan apapun satu jam sebelum dan sesudah minum 1.5 liter air ini.
3. Juga telah diteliti dengan seksama bahwa tidak boleh minum minuman beralkohol pada malam sebelumnya.
4. Bila perlu, gunakanlah air rebus atau air yang sudah disaring.

Apakah Mungkin Minum 1.5 Liter Air Sekaligus?
Untuk permulaan, mungkin akan terasa sulit meminum 1.5 liter air sekaligus, tapi lambat laun akan terbiasa juga. Mula-mula, ketika latihan, anda boleh minum 4 gelas dulu dan sisanya yang 2 gelas diminum dua menit kemudian. Awalnya anda akan buang air kecil 2 sampai 3 kali dalam satu jam, tetapi setelah beberapa lama, akan normal kembali. untuk yang sehat2 aja,,,mungkin juga jangan menyepelekan hal ini,,,terapi di atas tidak hanya untuk orang yang sakit aja,,,bahkan untuk orang yang sehat walafiat juga disarankan minum air sesuai dengan porsi sehari(2.5 liter)...waktu yang baik adalah bangun tidur sebelum cuci muka dan sikat gigi...karena pada waktu ini (pagi hatri) membuat sirkulasi darah di tubuh dan proses di tubuh menjadi lancar sehingga bagus untuk kesehatan kita. selain itu dapat mencegah terjangkitnya penyakit...apa salahnya bila kita mencegah dari pada mengobati...hihihihi,,,,

Hidayatullah.com--Sepertiga orang yang berada di lingkungan perokok berat atau biasa disebut para perokok pasif, mengalami kerusakan paru-paru sama seperti mereka yang merokok, kata para peneliti. Kerusakan paru-paru tersebut terbukti setelah para dokter menggunakan pemindaian MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging).

MRI, atau citra resonansi magnetik, digunakan para dokter tersebut untuk melihat paru-paru orang yang sering berada dalam lingkungan perokok berat, dan mereka menemukan jenis kerusakan paru-paru yang menyebabkan emfisema.

"Kami menilai perubahan-perubahan yang terjadi itu adalah tanda awal kerusakan paru-paru, berupa emfisema dalam bentuk ringan," kata pemimpin penelitian tersebut, Chengbo Wang, seorang dokter MRI di The Children`s Hospital of Philadelphia.

"Hampir sepertiga orang yang telah lama menjadi perokok pasif, mengalami perubahan-perubahan struktural ini," kata Wang.

"Sepanjang pengetahuan kami, ini merupakan pertama kalinya studi citra yang bertujuan menemukan kerusakan paru-paru pada perokok pasif yang telah lama berada di lingkungan penuh asap rokok."

"Kami berharap karya kami memperkuat usaha para pembuat undang-undang maupun pembuat kebijakan dalam mengurangi masyarakat yang menjadi perokok pasif."

Wang mengemukakan 35% anak-anak di AS tinggal bersama orang yang merokok di rumah.

Tim tersebut meneliti 60 orang dewasa berusia antara 41 dan 79 tahun di mana 45 dari jumlah tersebut belum pernah merokok.

Mereka yang tidak merokok digolongkan perokok pasif berat jika setidak-tidaknya telah 10 tahun hidup bersama seorang perokok. Kebanyakan dari mereka mengalami hal tersebut saat kanak-kanak.

"Sudah lama ada hipotesa bahwa kontak yang dalam jangka panjang dengan asap rokok orang lain, dapat menyebabkan kerusakan paru-paru, namun metode sebelumnya yang menganalisa perubahan paru-paru tidak cukup peka untuk mendeteksi hal itu," kata Wang.

Timnya memakai teknik yang disebut global helium-3 difusi pencitraan resonansi magnetik.

"Dengan teknik ini, kami dapat memeriksa struktur paru-paru hingga tingkat mikroskopis," kata Wang.

Mereka mendapati 57% perokok dan 33% perokok pasif berat mengalami tanda awal kerusakan paru-paru, sebagaimana hasil pemindaian MRI.

Para peneliti AS melaporkan bahwa 20% perempuan penderita kanker paru-paru belum pernah merokok. [kpl/www.hidayatullah.com]
