1. Technical documentation which is more or less used by the programmer for system maintenance.
2. User documentation.

What to include in the two documentations should be considered well in the documentation phase.

Next, it is implementation and real/live data testing phase. Please compare the different ways of the testing.

parallel running

The last phase is Evaluation/maintenance. When we evaluate a system, we have to evaluate it against the objectives set by us at the beginning of design. Limitation and necessary improvement should be further considered and evaluated.

When we are at analysis phase, we need to ask the following 3 questions:

How is the job done at present?

What are the problems with the current system?

Can a new system solve the problems?

Information has to be collected. But how? What are the advantages and disadvantages of the different methods?

All the collected information should be recorded and collated.

Requirements specifications can then be developed. In other words, what exactly will the new system do? To answer the question, inputs, processing and outputs must be considered.

Next, we need to know how to make algorithm design, which is, to make a sequence of steps to complete a task.

Boris Johnson, London's mayor, has pledged to push for green roofs and rainwater harvesting in an attempt to reduce the impact of flash floods. In addition, plants and trees will be planted on more unused land. Green roofs also help keep the buildings cooler, which is another major part of the mayor's plan, as he foresees hooter summer's, made worse by the urban heat island effect, prevalent in big cities.

So you got an A* but your friend got a U- what does it all mean?

A* to E means you have it. U means, try again...............but don't worry, you have a chance in a few months time. Take a break now and then get back on track and figure out a proper study programme for yourself.

In case anybody asks you, University of Cambridge tell us :

''IGCSE was created as a GCSE examination for international use and the academic demands (‘standards’) of IGCSE are equivalent to those of GCSE. IGCSE examinations are tailored for a multi–cultural, multi–lingual audience in a way that UK GCSE examinations are not. They are aligned to the standards of the UK GCSE, and equivalent on a subject–for–subject, grade–for–grade basis. ''

IGCSE A*-C is roughly equivalent to Cambridge Advanced ESOL or a 6.0 on the IELTS band.

The English language is like anything else: before you can convincingly break the rules, you first must know them..........who said that?

Why is IGCSE coming under so much criticism as of late ?

''Worries that tests are being "dumbed down" became so prevalent earlier this school year that an "independent watchdog", breaking from the qualifications and curriculum authority, was specifically commissioned to battle rumours of inadequacy and any truth behind them.

Headed by the education secretary, Ed Balls, the body was meant to ensure that exam standards were "robust" and that Great Britain did not fall behind "international competitors" in the business of producing bright young minds.

The main objection the dubious students have adopted is that the skills used in the exam are non-transferable; and I agree that these boys are unlikely to ever have a damsel rush up to them in a moment of urgency and ask them to examine the use of metaphor in Passage A.''

Seems like our IGCSEs are way ahead those GCSEs kids................way ahead. They'd rather have all this project nonsense perhaps......

In three weeks time many kids out there will be getting their IGCSE results. A friend of mine's daughter was thinking of going to England to continue with 'A' levels. She could do them for free there as she has British ntionality, but here it would cost about $4000 at a private school. The Principal of the school in the UK was dithering over the course being hard and 'IGCSE this'' and ''IGCSE that'', so we were chatting my friend and I about GCSE Vs IGCSE.

For some reason we, and others, had thought IGCSE was in some way easier than the GCSE ( an exam in English often taken by ''foreigners''- it had to be ).Apparently the opposite is true.
''Independent school leaders today said it was "illogical" that the government did not recognise the International GCSE (IGCSE), widely seen as a more challenging qualification to the GCSE.

Ministers now face renewed calls to allow schools to scrap traditional GCSEs in favour of harder courses such as the IGCSE as new league tables show that more than a quarter of private school GCSE exam entries - 26.5% - were awarded the top grade of A* this year. The national average was for 6.3%.

The figures released today from the Independent Schools Council (ISC) showed that nearly six out of 10 - 57.2% - of entries were awarded at an A or better, compared to 19.1% of schools nationally.''

Is that the reason why kids who do IGCSE can go directly to University in Britain but must sit a foundation year, but students from the UK must do an additional two years GCE 'A' level course before attending?

Should you have a choice as to which your kids do? And are international students out there aware that their examinations are actually harder than their British counterparts?

Terutama paper 2, padahal, saia suka matematika... [tapi boong', hhehehehe].

"Waduh total skor soalnya 10 nih.

Weee aduh gimana nih???

Dor~ Tiba-tiba gw dapet ilham, entah darimana.. yes.. gw nemu jawabannya...

2 lagi, bung...

ctakctikctukctakctikctuk... yesss, amen, 1 lagi selesai, aljabar, akhirnya.. terakhir...segitiga...

cosine rule, iya pake cosine rule, gw tahu pake rumus ini, tapi kok jawabannya gak ketemu2...

"1 menit lagi..." kata Bu Rina

ahead this week for la revolutionista:

assist the primeros, segundos, and terceros (7th, 8th, and 9th graders for those of you stateside) with researching and organizing their oral presentation finals.

prepare my tutee (as in, i'm his tutor) in primero for a big geography make-up exam

four hours of private English lessons

teach some of my cuartos (10th graders) how to write an argumentative composition in under 60 minutes for the Cambridge First Certificate Exam (exam that tests English competency)

teach the rest how to write cohesive, sophisticated, dripping-with-rich-vocabulary-and-literary-devices, whilst avoiding embarrassing jokes that are funny only to Spanish people, yet crude and unamusing to native English speakers

grade many practice essays (also for the Cambridge First Certificate)

tomorrow night: party at the Embassy (what to wear?!?!)

call the dad. congratulate him on another year of life.

respond to Comunidad de Madrid about a couple of present and future job offers

try not to get ulcers (thanks again h. for the meds. you saved my life!)

fix or replace my recently broken bed, thanks to whom i have had to sleep like a bat, with my head low to the ground and my feet levitated. the only potential upside to this (no pun intended) is the fact that the increased bloodflow to my brain could possibly help it perform better during the GREs.

did i mention i had GREs this week?
