Tanpa air musnahlah nikmat kehidupan manusia.Tanpanya juga, setiap mahluk yang hidup di bumi ini akan mati kehausan. Permukaan bumi diliputi dengan air lebih daripada 70%, begitu juga tubuh badan manusia, lebih 70% komposisi air. Kenapa dan mengapa peratusan air sebanyak begini di atas permukaan bumi dan di dalam badan manusia?  Jika kekurangan air di tubuh badan maka hiderasi akan wujud yang membolehkan manusia pengsan dan seterusnya membawa maut. Manakala permukaan bumi akan kering dek kerana kemarau yang melanda. Semuanya saling kait mengkait antara satu sama. Seperti sedia maklum, di permukaan bumi ada pelbagai jenis air iaitu air masin, air tawar, bongkah ais dan juga glasier. Bila dihitung peratusan air tawar sedikit sahaja yang boleh digunakan.

Sudah sediakah kita untuk menghadapi krisis air jika mahluk ciptaanNYA yang mempunyai akal dan pemikiran yang tinggi gagal untuk menghargai dan menjaga sumber asli yang amat penting dalam kehidupan. Gagal untuk berkompromi dengan sungai sebagai sumber air, maka nanti bolehkah sungai bertoleransi atas kerakusan manusia sendiri?. Tindakan manusia yang sesuka hati menelanjangkan dan memusnahkan sungai sehingga padahnya nanti amat perit dan sengsara sekali.

Sebelum terlambat, kita bukan sahaja perlu menghargai tetapi tanamkan sikap serta sifat tanggungjawab bersama untuk menjaga kebersihan sungai. Lantas nanti, sumber air terus ada dan keindahan sungai terjamin bukan untuk kita tetapi untuk anak cucu di masa hadapan. Segala kos untuk menjaga dan membaikpulih sungai oleh kerajaan boleh dialihkan untuk kegunaan yang lain.

Kemarau atau banjir semuanya berpunca dengan air. Itulah kuasa ciptaanNYA yang boleh membuatkan manusia tidak keruan apabila krisis air melanda. Segala aktiviti yang melibatkan penggunaan air tidak dapat diteruskan. Oleh itu, selalulah beringat akan kepentingannya yang tiada tolok banding dan ianya bagaikan ada "magik" di dalamnya untuk kita hargai dari penciptaNYA yang maha Agung.

Parece que los chicos de Google no descanzan, el dia de ayer leia acerca de una aplicacion basada en Adobe Air, mediante la que podiamos consultar nuestos feeds desde la comodidad del escritorio, la descargue y comenze a probarla, me gusto bastante excepto por la inposibilidad de poder visualizar contenido flash.

Hasta el dia de ayer la versión disponible (v.2) era muy simple con apariencia de Mac OS X pero el dia de hoy se lanzo la versión .3 en la que ya podemos elegir entre un estilo de Windows (como Thunderbird) o la ya mencionada. Este lector es muy simple contamos con dos botones uno + para agregar el feed y uno - para eliminarlo, se sincroniza logicamente con nuestra cuenta de GReader con todo y carpetas y podemos asignar 'extrellitas' a los articulos ue nos resulten importantes, parece que el lector va por buen camino y creo que se necesitan hacer varias mejoras,  por el momento a la ultima versión se le ha agregado la posibilidad de salvar la posicion de la ventana, soporte limitado para favicons, el tema de windows, mas shorcuts y en windows la opcion de minimizar a la bandeja del sistema, asi como en mac al Dock.

Paragliding is one of the aero sports using elliptical parachutes called gliders. Paragliding is one of the extreme sport. Compared with the other aero sports, paragliding is the cheapest. If you have a glider, thats the equipment for paragliding , you can do it for free! isn't that cool?

As for outfit, you don't have to wear a special outfit . A pair of jeans or a training suit, ankle protecting shoes, gloves and a helmet is all you need . But the thing is , you have to be a pilot to fly. Yes, the person who paraglides is called a pilot (sounds coll, huh?) . What to do to be a pilot?

First, you have to go to through a basic training which takes four meetings training to get a pilot license. A license is necessary for you to go paragliding in other places, or even other countries. Unless you have a license , you can't fly solo.

In this sport, you have to keep a logbook, this is the note to see how often you have flown to get the higher rank of pilot.

La famosa compañia de la manzana ha decidido rebajar drásticamente el precio de uno de sus más llamativos productos, El Macbook Air.

El precio original del portátil era de US$3.098 y ha sido rebajada en 500 dólares, dejándolo en "sólo" 2.598 de los billetes verdes. Las razones son dos: La actualización de su procesador Intel Core 2 Duo a 1.8GHz ( -100 dólares) y la baja del precio de los discos SSD de 64GB que han sido bajados de $999 a $599 dólares.

قد ذكرت من قبل انى أكتب framework لمرمجين ال AIR بالجافاسكربت و قد أنهيت اليوم الجزء الخاص بالنوافذ NativeWindows و القوائم NativeMenus حيث يمكنك عمل قوائم فى غايه التعقيد فى أسطر قليله جدا جدا جدا و كذلك عمل نوافذ و تخصيصها بدون معاناه و بعد كتابه هذا المقال سوف أبدأ فى العمل فى الجزء الخاص بالسحب و الإلقاء Drag and drop ، بالنسبه لل Syntax فهو شبيه إلى حد ما ب YUI حيث أن كل الكائنات تحت namespace واحد يمكنك التوصل إليها من خلاله كل ما عليك مثلا لعمل نافذه جديده هو الطريقه create داخل الكائن windiw ال parameter الذى هو عباره عن خصائص النافذه كلها ، فور قرب الإنتهاء من ال framework سوف أكتب فى مدونه خاصه بها سوف أجعلها باللغه الانجليزيه لسببين أنى اريد أهتمام عالمى من المبرمجين بالإضافه إلى أن العرب لا يساعدون فى مثل هذه الأشياء إلا من رحم ربى ، و سوف أطرحها للأختبار قبل أن أنزع منها اللقب Beta ، ان لم تكن تعلمت ال AIR حتى الان فأبدا حالا فهو لا يحتج منك إلا خبره بالجافاسكربت و بعض ال HTML و ال CSS حتى يمكنك إستخدام قدراته فى عمل تطبيقات سطح المكتب

I have been a regular Twitter user since early 2007 and currently follow close to 800 people, which isn't that large compared to some other Twitter friends. The big problem for me (and why I don't follow more people), is that with that much inbound traffic in my Twitter stream, I can easily miss tweets that I would want to see.  It reminds me of that classic scene from I Love Lucy where Lucy and Ethel are have a job wrapping chocolates.

I've been thinking that the answer to this problem would be an application which lets me filter my Twitter stream into manageable groups.  I could have one group for "Local People", one for "Thought Leaders", one for "Friends in Australia"; you get the idea.  I even started talking to some local developers about building an app like this.

As it turns out, I was not alone thinking stream filters would be a great idea.  Yesterday, I learned about a new Adobe AIR app called TweetDeck that features full integration with Summize, and lets you (wait for it......) create customized groups of those you follow on Twitter.

Authored by Iain Dodsworth, TweetDeck is one of the most useful Twitter apps I've seen to date.
It offers four major columns in which to organize Twitter data: "All Tweets", which is your "with friends" timeline, "Replies", "Search", which will keep a running search window open for a term you've selected, and "Group", which lets you make a sub-set of those you follow on Twitter.  You can have multiple groups.

The other interesting departure in this app is that it maintains a local database on your computer, so if you wake up in the morning and Twitter is down (a real possibility), you could still look at and reply to tweets "offline".  TweetDeck stores you offline tweets and submits them to Twitter once the FailWhale goes away.  Now that's a useful feature and a great workaround for the API limitation that prevents other external clients from seeing older tweets.

TweetDecks is still very much "in Beta" and likely to have a few issues of its own, but the feature set makes it well worth checking out.

Tomorrow .. it would be a fight between UP and NU; and between LaSalle and Ateneo. It would be in Araneta. Some games are scheduled to be played in Ultra.

I was testing my lens on flowers and insects when I suddenly looked up and saw the perfect contrails on the perfect blue sky. I took three shots with manual focus, and this was the sharpest one. It just proves that this lens has many uses. Submitted to the PhotoShelter Collection (click here for my portfolio).

Being a meteorologist, I feel compelled to explain what contrails are. As jet aircraft enter the cold air just below the stratosphere, they trigger the formation of ice crystal Cirrus clouds. The exhaust of the engines provides the condensation nuclei necessary to produce clouds from the water vapor already present in the surrounding air. According to the IPCC, contrails contribute to global warming.

Setelah pulang, penduduk kampung mencari saringan santan. Dia berusaha mengisi saringan itu dengan air. Selalu saja, air itu menerobos saringan. Kosong lagi. Tetapi penduduk itu yakin bahwa sang guru tidak main-main. Pasti ada pesan tersembunyi di balik tugas sulit itu.

Seminggu berlalu. Penduduk kampung itu belum berhasil mengisi saringan dengan air penuh. Dua minggu berlalu, belum juga berhasil. Satu bulan berlalu, belum juga berhasil.

Sang guru berkunjung lagi ke kampung itu untuk memberi pencerahan.

”Guru, ini saya bawa saringan santan. Tolong tunjukkan bagaimana cara untuk mengisinya dengan air penuh.”

Guru itu diam saja. Lalu mengambil saringan santan dari penduduk kampung itu.

”Ayo ikut saya!”

Penduduk kampung mengikuti guru berjalan. Terus berjalan sampai ke tepi laut. Kemudian guru itu memegang kuat-kuat saringan santan dan melemparnya ke laut.

”Lihat itu... sudah terisi penuh dengan air.”
